Welcome to my portfolio. :)

My research is focused on “Fantasy tabletop role-playing games and the wars of us against us”. In these games, players gather around a table and with the use of dice, pen and paper they create a story together. Often, in order to create this story collectively, each player creates a character that later they role-play during the game. They follow the rules and instructions of the game, that are usually compiled in a book. As part of the research, I’ve designed a game called “Draconis Lacrimae” (Dragon Tears). So, here you can check the three following things:

1) “Draconis Lacrimae. The Player’s Handbook” (A5, 160 pages).  The first draft of the game instructions. The final version will be updated soon.  The book is divided in three chapters: Character Building, World Building and Role-Playing. Designed by P.G. Howlin

2) “Draconis Lacrimae. After action report” (A5, 8 pages). A booklet that accompanies the book. An after action report contains the stories created during a game. This booklet is a draft of the fiction and characters created while playing Draconis Lacrimae. Designed by P.G. Howlin

3) “And within the mosh, the Dragon appears” (video, 33′). A journey throughout my trajectory in a.pass tracing visual ideas of the game and the research.
